Australians bogan cockneye accent is probably the most obnoxious thing ive ever heard, and over half of them sound that way....followed closely by American southern hicks. On the flip side of that, a well educated well spoken person with good English, and an australian or southern accent sound quite nice. Interesting dichotomy there

Ahh the early 90s, when everybody rode boards that were way too narrow with way too much rocker. At least on the east coast. Thank god the Fish came back! I didn’t even know what they were until the late 90s. No internet and all the magazines had were potato chips.

It's been a while but here is an update on what has happened to a couple of the Allstonians. Trumpet player Tyler Oulten passed away a few years ago from hep c. Singer King K underwent successful liver transplant surgery in 2020. He's been recovering at his condo in Somerville. King K and Nigel are working on some new material under the name of Sideways Fro.
